Sri Campus Ceremony
On the 21st of April 2023, the K.J. Institute of Nursing in Vadasma organized a lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony for their ANM, GNM, and B.Sc Nursing students at the Satasangi Hall in SRI Campus, Vadasma. The ceremony began with the lighting of a lamp and a prayer to Goddess Saraswati, followed by a welcome dance performed by the nursing students.
Dr. Renuka Patel, the Principal of the B.Sc Nursing program, inaugurated the event and welcomed all the dignitaries. The Chairman of the institute, Dr. Bharat Rao, gave a brief introduction of all the dignitaries, starting with the Chief Guest, Dr. Kuberbhai Dindor, who was the Honorable Minister of Tribal Development and Primary and Secondary Education for the Government of Gujarat. Other dignitaries included the Guest of Honors, Shri Mukeshbhai Patel, MLA for Mehsana, and Shri Girishbhai Rajgor, President of BJP, Mehsana. Additionally, Dr. Anil Nayak, the Honorable General Secretary of IMA, and Dr. Pragnaben Dabhi, the Registrar of GNC, were present.
Dr. Bharat Rao spoke about the Nursing Department and its future plans before presenting all the dignitaries with shawls and mementos as a token of love and respect. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and blessed the novice students for their future endeavors.
The lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony for the B.Sc (N), GNM, and ANM students were initiated by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Chairman, Principals, and other staff members by lighting the candles of all the novice students. The oath was delivered by respected Dr. Kokila Shah, the Principal of ANM-GNM, and all the students rendered into the profession by taking the oath.
